The album released on July 7 days boasts collaborations with talented artists like DJ Maphorisa, Psycho YP, Wurld, King Perry, J Molley, Alpha P, Will Guttens, and Victony with whom he was collaborating for the second time after their hit partnership n 'Rosemary'.

Savage is no newcomer to the game as he scored mainstream hits with the smash hit 'Confident' featuring Nigeria's chorus master BNXN and 'Rosemary' where he floated with Victony. Upon the back of these hits, Savage would release his debut album 'Utopia' in 2021.

Two years after the release of his debut project, Savage is returning with a new album 'That Uzere Boy' that showcases the extent of his talent and flaunts his roots.

Across 13 songs Savage offered different parts of himself through different genre that carries his identity. His decision to name the album after his Edo heritage offered an insight into his desire to put his people on the map and he achieves this by reaching out to stars across the Afrobeats soundscape and beyond.

With a talent forged on the streets, Savage opens the album by giving gratitude to God and sampling the voice of his mother who brings his cultural elements into the mix.

In 'Gangnam Style' and the Amapiano party starter 'Majo' feat South African hitmakers Blxckie and DJ Maphorisa he reminded listeners of the catchy melody, witty writing, and swaggering flow with which he scored previous hits.

Even when he explores Swing on the Chest thumping record 'Oil', his writing, delivery, and tone carry his cultural identity. When he expresses heartbreak from unrequited love in 'Vanity' his delivery is coherent and his writing is honest which allows listeners to relate to his pain.

His ability to shape-shift shines on this album as he moves from Afropop to Amapiano to Swing while collaborating with artists with different cadences.

Overall, 'That Uzere Boy' is a statement of intent by Savage who wants to showcase his identity while taking his career to the next level.
