The international Afrobeats sensation is set to drop his debut album after a career that has spanned almost a decade.
The listening party set to hold on Thursday, 22nd September 2022 will be hosted by OAP Sheye Banks who has hosted the listening parties of CKay's previous EPs.
For Sheye, who will be taking a break from talent management and working with leading Afrobeats acts including Kizz Daniel, hosting the release of CKay's debut album is an important moment.
"I hosted the listening parties for the 'CKay The First' and 'Boyfriend', so it makes me proud to see how far he has gone and the success he has recorded. Hosting the listening party for his debut album is just me finishing what I started," he says.
CKay's debut album 'Sad Romance' is coming after he ascended into global fame with the unprecedented success of his song 'Love Nwanttit' and the album will be his way of consolidating his superstar status.
