In a significant move that merges entertainment with social advocacy, Wakanow has stepped forward to back the production of All of Us, a new series co-produced by influencers Enioluwa Adeoluwa and Tomike Adeoye.
The series delves into the challenges faced by young people—particularly around issues of friendship, sexual assault, and the pressures of secondary school life.
This collaboration underscores Wakanow’s commitment to addressing critical social issues that resonate with youth across Nigeria and Africa. The company’s involvement in All of Us reflects a deep understanding of the power of storytelling to ignite conversations and drive societal change.
“Wakanow is dedicated to more than just facilitating travel; we are invested in the lives and futures of the communities we serve,” said Olamide Odusola, Vice President, Marketing, Wakanow. “By supporting All of Us, we are contributing to a dialogue that needs to happen—one that encourages young people to confront and navigate the challenges they face daily.”
The series, which was premiered Friday, August 30 at the IMAX Cinema in the Lekki area of Lagos, features a stellar cast, including Nollywood heavyweights like Chioma Akpotha, Shaffy Bello, Kate Henshaw, and Iyabo Ojo, bringing to life the intense and often difficult experiences of adolescence.
Enioluwa Adeoluwa, one of the creative force behind the series, expressed his gratitude for Wakanow’s involvement: “Partnering with Wakanow is about more than just financial support—it’s about aligning with a brand that truly gets the importance of the issues we’re addressing. Together, we hope to create something that will spark important conversations and inspire young people across Africa to be agents of change.”
Through this partnership, Wakanow, Enioluwa Adeoluwa, and Tomike Adeoye are opening a door to dialogue, understanding, and ultimately, change.
