I like it when a movie role scares me - actress

Rita Dominic has said she likes movie roles that scares her because it helps her channel her best into getting the best out of the roles.

In a mini-chat, the actress said, "I like it when a character scares me. When the character scares me, it encourages me to go inside of me and invoke everything I have, you know every acting demon i have inside of me, digging out and just putting it into the character or role."

The AMVCAs winner made this known when speaking about her role in a movie, The Guest, which also starred, Femi Jacobs and Somkele Iyamah.

She said, "I liked the story, I like role, the role scared me when I first read the script and for me, I like roles that scare me."

Currently in her 40s, graceful and close to two decade old in the ever busy Nigerian film industry, the actress made a name for herself by featuring in an array of roles over the years.

Rita Dominic would be fondly remembered with her comic role in co-produced movie, The Meeting, 'Finding Mercy,' 'Suru L’ere,' '76' and "Iyore.”

Rita Dominic says not all movies should be in cinemas

Rita Dominiccommented on the quality of Nollywood movies that show in the cinemas.

The actress took to her Instagram page to share a quote on why there are bad films.

She also said that not all Nollywood movies should be in cinemas, advising filmmakers to ensure that the quality of their work matches the hype they create for it.
