Nigerian filmmaker, Jamila Dankaro has debuted the official trailer for 'The Days to Follow', a 2D animated short film in honour of the victims of the 2020 EndSARS protests.
Written and directed by Dankaro, the short film which premieres on October 20, the first anniversary of the Lekki Tollgate massacre, follows the story of two sisters whose lives are permanently transformed after they attend the EndSars protests.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the production, the filmmaker shared: "All over the world, we (Black people) are arguing the validity of their voice and with this pain in mind, I wanted to create something to honour the families who lost their loved ones. I wanted to create something for my people.”
'The Days to Follow' is produced by Black Girl Heard productions.
