The official trailer promises a much bigger plot than the assumed juju mystery in the new title 'Egun.'

Produced by The Future Awards Africa's recent Film category winner, Ife Olujuyige, Egun is set to deliver another Nigerian horror story in the coming days.

Written by Kayode Kasum and Dare Olaitan, the upcoming title takes us into the lives of a particular corporate office that receives an unexpected package containing juju. They instantly receive a call that informs them that all who have seen the content of the box are bound to die.

From the recently released trailer, we also see that the people stuck in the office go into a frenzy and start to fight each other as it becomes a survival of the fittest situation.

Principle photography is said to have wrapped up in September 2023, as Singularity Media, Film Trybe and Film One collaborated on the production of Egun.

Directed by Carmen Ike Okoro, the cast includes Gideon Okeke, Omowunmi Dada, Uzor Arukwe, Femi Jacobs, Bolaji Ogunmola, Adedimeji Lateef, Olarotimi Fakunle, Yekini Ibrahim, Vee Iye, Tomike Adeoye, Darasim Nadi, Ejiro Onajaife and Taye Arimoro.

Film Trybe, which is one of the production houses involved in the making of Egun, is known for other horror-like stories like Ile Owo and Mama. Expectations are high for the difference this horror story will bring to our screens.

Egun will debut on November 10, 2023, for it's theatrical run across cinemas nationwide.
