Bolanle Austen Peters is getting a Netflix Original! The 'Collision Course' producer recently announced that the streamer commissioned an Original produced by her BAP production.

"Waiting for the 'Man of God' the movie to exhale. MY NETFLIX ORIGINAL. Please all my people, be on the standby to repost. You will be #proudlyNaija amazing story and phenomenal actors. No mocking around," Peters wrote in an Instagram post.

At the moment, very little is known about the feature film save for that it is written by Shola Dada, directed by Peters and stars Akah Nnani, Osas Ighodaro, Atlanta Bridget, Dorcas Shola Fapson and Jude Chkwuka.

Reports say the story will center on a young man torn between accepting his torturous religious background and living his own life.

Peters' latest partnership with Netflix may be hint that the streamer is finally opening up opportunities to work with more Nigerian filmmakers, a topic of serious criticism.

Since the global streaming platform launched in Nigeria in 2016, only 10 commisioned series and feature films have been released including Kemi Adetiba's 'King of Boys' sequel (which premiered as a limited series) and the EbonyLife studios produced 'Chief Daddy 2' that got a lot of backlash in January.
