As Tiwalade, a young woman trying to lose weight and find love on

The actress and producer was recently at Pulse Nigeria, where she shared how she went from being an intended producer of the show to leading the talented cast of the Ndani TV web series.

"I was meant to produce the show," said Craig. "I was fooling around during auditions, my clip was seen and it was suggested 'maybe you should try it.'

"So I did, and the rest they say is history."

Craig also spoke about the effect of playing Tiwalade on the show. "You know Nigerians are very literal people, what they see is what they take in," she said.

"So, you have people up to me, never really knowing my name is Bimbo. So, a lot of times I get addressed as Tiwalade. 'Tiwa, Tiwa, you're eating doughnut. Are you not meant to be dieting? [fans would ask Craig].

"Skinny Girl in Transit" is a weekly web series that ended its third season months ago and is set to release its fourth season.

The actress who has been a part of its success since it made its debut spoke about what  the show means for Nollywood as an industry.

"It just puts Nollywood on the map. You have people from Kenya, from Nairobi, you have people from Australia, you have white people from India that are reaching out to me like 'Oh my God, your show is so hilarious," said Craig.

Craig believes that an award means appreciation and noticeability. In 2016, she was nominated in the Best Actress in a comedy' category of the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards, alongside  Ini Edo, Funke Akindele, Lepacious Bose and Abimbola Craig.

Explaining what an award means to her, the actress said, "An award means recognition. It means appreciation. It means noticeability, and that is what everyone wants - to know that you're recognized and appreciated for the work you put into something."

"No matter how little it is, just the fact that people know that you're working and they appreciate it; It means everything," she added.

She also spoke about "Skinny Girl in Transit" missing out on the 2017  Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.

Abimbola Craig, who made her debut in a feature film in 2017 also spoke about starring alongside Ramsey Nouah and Omoni Oboli in the upcoming movie, "My Wife and I."

Abimbola Craig will next be seen in the anticipated 2017 movie "Isoken," which also sees her in the role of the production manager.
