Are these one-time lovers getting back together?

The pair have been reportedly spotted having cordial conversations at public events particularly late actress Moji Olaiya's memorial service.

Old flames, Saidi and Fathia Balogun might have initiated moves to bury the hatchet based on new findings.

The pair have been spotted in public having companionable chats at some events. One of their notable discussions was at a memorial service organized for late actress Moji Olaiya, blogger Kemi Filani reports.

Death can truly have a calming effect on great rivals it appears. Until recently, the pair had been in an unsociable relationship that lasted over a decade. The differences between the former couple who divorced in the year 2006, has seen them avoid each other even on screen.

Rumours have it that the one-time sweet hearts began to have severed relationship based on cheating allegations. The Nollywood actors at a time were a symbol of romance which brought some thrill to their fans who will be much delighted over the possibility of a reunion.

"Roti" actress, Fathia, now 50 years of age, seemed to have mainly focused on her career as opposed to relationships in the past few years. Such cannot be said about Saidi however who was rumoured to have had an affair with Funke Adesiyan.

Fans should not hold their breath

If actor, Saidi Balogun is truly a man of his word, then fans should not hold their breath hoping for a homecoming between the former love birds.

Balogun had in his reaction to a rumour suggesting that they were getting back together told Encomium Weekly that he will never reconcile with her.

This was in 2014 shortly after both actors featured in a Mercy Aigbe film "Victim".

If the movie stars really succeed in burying the hatchet and rejuvenate their relationship, that will be a much needed change in a 2017 that has seen quite a number of celebrity break-ups. Notable examples in that regard were the marriages of Tonto Dikeh and Aigbe.

Both now assume the position of celebrities believed to have suffered physical abuses in matrimony after alleging that they were battered by their ex-partners.
