Poly's annexes to become DLI's

Some annexes of the Lagos state Polytechnic may be converted into Distance Learning Centres in the near future according to the Rector of the institution.

A number of LASPOTECH Annexes in Lagos states will soon be converted to Distance Learning Centres. When this is done, the annexes in Surulere, Ikeja, Alagbado, Ajegunle, Iju, Agege and Ojo will be fully regarded as Distance Learning Institutes (DLI’s).

This information was made known to public by the Rector of the institution, Dr. Abdulazeez Lawal in a press release preceding the forthcoming convocation ceremony of the institution.

The Rector added that a total of 7,022 students will graduate from the school with 4,094 awarded National Diploma (ND) in full time studies while 2,928 will graduate with Higher National Diploma (HND) from the polytechnics school of part time studies.

The Rector assured that the graduating students are well equipped to face the challenges of the Nigerian labor market and confirmed that all the graduating students would receive their certificates immediately after graduation.
