Being a Christian means you are constantly fighting with the Devil.

It involves a daily battle with sinful urges, vulnerability, deadly thoughts, associations, and so on.

There is no doubt that all of this is exhausting, however, you do not have to do it alone.

One of the major benefits of being Christian is knowing that God is walking with you through it all.

So, take advantage of this by resisting the enemy with help from the following Bible verses.

1. Ephesians 6:11 - "Put on the full armour of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes."

2. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 – "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

3. 1 Peter 5:8 - "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour."

4. 1 John 4:1 – "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world."

5. Luke 4:8 - “And Jesus answered him, ‘It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.'”

Use these passages whenever you need help defending yourself from the Devil's ploys and manipulations.
