During the recently concluded 66th annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) themed: 'Dominion', the General Overseer told the congregation that the killings would soon stop.
"My Daddy will silence all violent situations in the country," he said.
RCCG G.O preaches about dominion
Pastor Adeboye concluded the holy communion service also known as the Last Supper by referring to the theme of the event. He urged the congregation to use their dominion to achieve peace for the entire country.

The RCCG G.O also highlighted the importance of having dominion online.
On Facebook, he wrote, "There are only two categories of people on earth: the dominant and the dominated. Everyone on earth falls into either of these two categories.
"Words are also of two categories; 1. Passive, and 2. Active. The word 'dominion' is a noun of the word 'dominate' which is an active verb. To dominate is to force down and keep down by force.
"You must determine to take your stand and actively take the position of Dominion. A name often reflects the bearer's origin and destination. 'Moses' means out of water. Moses was so affected by his name that he missed out on entering the promised land due to an incidence with water…"
Pastor Adeboye continued on August 11th writing, "As we said previously, the word 'dominion' is an active word; it is military and requires action.
God created you to have dominion. When you desire it, you're aligned with His perfect will for you.
"The Bible assures us that when we make our requests according to His will, He hears us and grants unto us our desires. Genesis 27:30–40. You either have dominion or you're under yoke…"
The convention, which held at the Redemption Camp, Km 46 Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun state, concluded yesterday, August 12, 2018.
