Born Onome Onokokwomo on the 8 of JUL 1989 is a Nigerian rap artist. He was born into a wealthy family in Warri, Delta State and has four siblings of which he is the oldest. He attended a private university in Osun state. His interest in music started at a young age and just like several Nigerian artists like Dammy Krane his was a member of his church choir. His interest in music grew rap and he drew inspiration from rap music, .during his high school days he engaged in rap battles and eventually formed a group with his friends called G-Squad. He dropped his version of Ice Princes’ ‘Oleku’ track in 2010 and thus began his rise to fame.

Best known for: Young 6ix has been described by Nigerian rapper M.I Abaga as the next best thing in Nigerian Hip-hop after they collaborated on a track together he got him the moniker ‘King of the South”. Due to his young age he appeals to a lot of Young Nigerians and has often been referred to as the Voice of the New Generation.

He is under the management of Storm360 Degrees and 411 entertainments since 2011 and released his very much anticipated Mix tape "Green Light Green”. The fast rising star has worked with already established artists in the industry like Naeto C, Phyno, M.I, Brymo, Tha Suspect, Ice Prince, Vector and many others. Yung 6ix has been nominated for awards such as best new act, best hip hop video, best rap single and several others.

In February 2014, he finally released his debut album, 6ix O Clock.

Born James Ikechukwu Esomugha on the 25 of September 1970 is a Nigerian actor, producer, ambassador and musician. He was born in Gabon to Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Okolue who later changed their last name. Jim is the only son in a family of eight children.

He first received a diploma in banking and finance before he attended and graduated from University of Jos with a degree in Philosophy. Jim who is one of the top actors in Nollywood begun his acting career in 2001 with debut movie ‘Cursed from beyond’

He owns his own record label ‘Untamed’ and released his debut album called ‘who am I”. The actor who has featured in over a 100 Nollywood movies is also involved in charity as he founded the Jim Iyke foundation for Children with Special Disabilities.

His acting skills and bad boy image have gotten him several awards like Teenage Choice Award,  Nigerian Entertainment Award, African Hollywood Award, African Achievement Award and Best Actor of the year amongst many others. He used to be a brand ambassador for teelcoms giant Globacom until he was dropped in 2011, however this was replaced by another ambassadorial position for Virgin Atlantic Airline.

Jim was dating Jamaican model Keturah Hamilton for 6years and is currently dating Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari. Jim also has a teenage son; Mario Ikechukwu with an ex-lover who is based in the United Kingdom.

Born Chukie Edozien on November 24 is a Nigerian recording artist and CEO of Syndik8 Records. He was born to parents, his dad the former Governor of old Bendel state and the first deputy governor of Delta state, Chief John Edozien. Lynxxx was born into a family of six, him being the last child and only son. He got on the music scene in 2009, after observing and learning the tricks of the trade and dropped his hit single ‘Change your parade’ which put him in the spotlight.

Lynxxx attended Corona Primary School, Kings College, Reading University/Hull University UK where he obtained a degree in Business, Economics and Marketing. Born Akitoye Balogun is a Nigerian artist. Ajebutter was born inSurulere, Lagos and raised as the only son with four sisters. He had his secondary school education in the International School Lagos and went to England to study Petroleum Engineering in Leeds University, after which he went to Manchester for a Masters degree in Engineering Project Management.

He started out his musical career in 2009 alongside his sister Taymi B; the duo wascalled Soyinka’s Afro. He stepped into the limelight when he released techno-beat club banger ‘Senrenre’

Best Known for:  Ajebutter is known to work with top producer Studio Magic. Ajebutter 22 and Studio Magic recently released their debut collaboration album on the Saturday 22nd February 2014, titled “Anytime Soon”and made history. In less than 24 hours the album became the number1 album on iTunes Nigeria knocking off internationally renowned artists like Beyonce, Jay Z and Drake.

Born Olubukola Elemide on 1 of September 1982 in Paris, France is a Nigerian-French singer and song writer. She was born to father, Akin Elemide who was a telecoms engineer at the time. Asa grew up as the only girl child with 3 brothers. Her family moved back to Nigeria when she was 2 years old and she grew up in FESTAC. On the Elemide’s return to Nigeria, Her mother became a shopkeeper and her father shot video reports for weddings. Young Asa had to deal with the harsh reality when her parents got divorced and though damaging for her she believes it came with unique blessings.  The name ‘Asa’ was a Yoruba nickname given to her as a young age and it means ‘hawk’. Asa spent her formative years in the city of Jos, Plateau State, in northern Nigeria before returning to Lagos at the age of 18.

Asa’s mother enrolled her in the prestigious Corona High school Lagos and went further  to federal government college in Jos and moved back to Lagos to attend Lagos State University and was enrolled in the department of Theatre Arts and Music. She got admission to study as a diploma student which required her spending about 2years but Asa spent only about a little over 6 months and then left because it was clashing with her professional musical classes at the renowned saxophonist, Peter King's Musical School in Badagry, where she majored in Guitar studies for a year.

Asa discovered music while rummaging through her father’s music collection and discovered classics such as Marvin Gaye, Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Aretha Franklin, Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey and Lagbaja. Growing up she was rejected by choirs because of the deep tone of her voice. When she moved back to France she got inspiration from contemporary musicians like Erika Badu, D’Angelo, Rafel Saadiq, Lauryn Hill and Angelique Kidjo.

In 2001 she released her debut album ‘The Captivator’. After which she released two other albums ‘Asa’ and ‘Beautiful Imperfections’ that got her labeled best female vocalist in Africa. Her remarkable debut and sophomore albums have been internationally certified platinum and gold respectively.

Best known for: Her dreadlocks and guitar side kick. Asa’s music has gotten her international acclaim; she performed alongside Seal at the Montreux Jazz Festival and set out on an extended tour including Europe, North America, Africa and Japan. Asa with her signature husky voice has gained global recognition as an extra ordinary unafraid to tackle issues with intelligence and confidence. Asa keeps her private life hidden as much as possible, though rumours of her sexual orientation started to loom, she debunked them stating that she is not a lesbian and went as far as suing the media company for libel that stated she was a lesbian.

Born Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk on the 31 of October 1986 is a Nigerian artist, song writer and performer. He was born to a father who was a forester and mother who was a headmistress. He was born with 3 siblings and unfortunately he lost both his parents and his elder brother in the year 2008. Iyanya started out singing at his church choir which was headed by his grandfather at the tender age of 5. He grew up wanting to be an engineer and ended up as a successful musician.

After obtaining a degree in Business management from the University of Calabar he took a job at a hotel where he sang karaoke. His rise to fame only begun when he emerged as the winner of the 2008 MTN Project Fame singing competition.

Best known for: Its Iyanya!! His love for the Etighi dance, he made the traditional Efik dance mainstream and rampant throughout clubs in Nigeria. Iyanya is also referred to as the ‘Kukere Master’ coined from his mega hit song ‘Kukere’. The success of kukere only amped him up and we went ahead to release a second hit song ‘Ur waist’ which till today remains a club banger.

His 2013 album ‘Iyanya vs. Desire’ has been a very successful one as he went on tour to London,  Canada, Manchester  promote and top of the list of his performances was when he performed at the globally renown New York Fashion week.

He has bagged awards such as Hip hop awards musician of the year and best pop single, Nigerian entertainment awards hottest single of the year. Iyanya was chosen by Solo Phones, Zinox computers and telecoms giants MTN to be their brand ambassador

Iyanya was dating Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson and it ended in a bitter break up. More recently he has been tied to Emma Nyra until she debunked rumours of a brewing romance. He lives in Lekki with his pet dogs.

Born Innocent Ujah Idibia born on September 18, 1975 is a Nigerian award winning singer, producer and song writer. Tuface was born in Jos to Mr. and Mrs. Idibia and has two brothers Hyacinth and Charles. He once belonged to a boy group called ‘Plantashun Boyz’ and after they split he delved into a solo career which has now made him one of the most successful artists in Africa. Tuface attended Saint Gabriel's Secondary School Makurdi, Benue State and afterwards enrolled at Institute of Management &amp; Technology, Enugu, where he did a preliminary National Diploma course in business administration and management. While getting his diploma he composed jingles for the radio station in Enugu.

His stage name Tuface was born in 1996, his reason for the name being that he was trying to demarcate his personal from his business life. In a determined quest to launch his music career he moved to Lagos and teamed up with Blackface (Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo) and Faze (Chibuzor Oji) and thus Plantashun boyz was born.

After releasing two successful albums they part ways in 2004. He parted ways with his then record label Kennis Music and started his own label called HyperTek Entertainment. Tufaces’ success hasn’t just been in music, he also signed a lucrative deal with telecoms giant Airtel and is an ambassador for other agencies. He is also part of the Sony All African One8 Project alongside seven other musicians in Africa. In the spirit of goodwill and philanthropy Tuface founded the ‘Reach-out foundation’ in 2009 that aims to promote peace and development.

Best known For: Tuface is popular for his hit song 'African Queen' which was released in 2006. He was first Nigerian artist to have an appropriately priced international album for his 2010 album ‘The Unstoppable International Edition. Tuface has become a force to reckon with in the Nigerian music industry having headlined at major events like Rhythm Unplugged, Music Meets Runway, Felabration and several others. Tuface has been known to team up with international artists like R.Kelly and T-pain. Tuface’s personal life is one that always sparks up heated conversations due to the fact that a lot of people are of the notion that he can’t keep it in his pants. The successful artist has 7 children with 3 different women. First is Sunmbo Ajabawho gave birth to his sons Zion in January 2006 and Nino in April 2008. Second is America – based makeup artist Pero Adeniyi who had three kids for him; daughter Rose, son Justin, and a newborn son born in April 2012.

His third baby mama is Annie Macaulay who was with him on and off for twelve years; he proposed to her on Valentine’s Day at JayJay Okochas' club and he married her in a lavish star studded ceremony in Dubai, May 2013.
