The Punch reports that the body of the deceased was already decomposing as at the time it was discovered in a bush near the cleric's home.

Students living near the Jafaria Street are reported to have wept uncontrollably following the discovery and the stench emanating from the decomposing corpse.

The discovery is yet to be confirmed by the police but has, however, been confirmed by the Deputy Coordinator of the National Association of Nigerian Students in South West, Saheed Afolabi.

As earlier reported, the 400L student of Microbiology was said to be cooking at his private hostel on Monday, July 26, when he suddenly abandoned the food and went out.

Oluwafemi's friends said they did not know whether he went out to buy something or somebody called him on the telephone, adding that the student had not been found since that time.
