A 19-year-old student of Government Technical College Malali, Kaduna State, Mohammed Sani, has been stabbed to death.

Sani was reportedly stabbed in the hostel and found in a pool of blood with no traces of his killer.

The deceased's father, Alhaji Harisu Sani, was quoted in several reports, said he needed clarification on how his son died.

He said he was called into the school around 4:30am to see his son's corpse but no one said anything about who stabbed him.

“I dashed to the school thinking that my son passed away in his sleep, but when I arrived at his hostel, I saw him in a pool of blood," Sani reportedly said.

"He was stabbed in the chest with a sharp object."

The bereaved father expressed surprise that no one had seen his son's attacker or knew about the attack and demanded for answers.

"What baffled me most was that there are about 200 students in the hostel and nobody heard or saw the killers of my son.

"I believe that my son was killed by somebody within and the school and state government should tell me what happened to my son, because as a boarding student, he was in their custody, my son had no problem with anyone."

He vowed to take legal action in seeking justice for his late son.

Unconfirmed reports say a relative of the late student attacked the principal of the college, Mallam Turkur Sani, recently.

There has been no official statement from the police authorities on the matter.
