6:00am: Pulse received reports that some thugs planned to attack some notable APC chieftains especially Hon Bamisayesi. The thugs intended to move from Abiri Ogudu enroute Iloro Ile Ife, Araromi Oke Odo through Onikoko Junction. They were supposed to converge at Itamaarun. Leader of the gang was named as Oloka. Segun Abejo, Aro Ayanbeku, Ojo bela and White were named as members.
5:30pm: It's peaceful and quiet here in Osogbo, the Osun State capital. Pulse has been talking to the locals--market women, fish and meat sellers, Okada riders etc about their expectations ahead of the vote.
When Pulse asked some of the prospective voters about their expectations from whoever is elected governor on Saturday, they cited prompt payment of salaries, job creation and respect for the rights of women.
