Ex Scientology couple baptize daughter in catholic church
After two years of leaving Church of Scientology, Married actors, Leah Remini and Angelo Pagan baptized their 11 year-old daughter on September 6, 2015 in an undisclosed catholic church.
The couple decided to baptise their daughter as a catholic so as to introduce her to a new spiritual experience.
The couple who announced the baptism via their twitter and instagram accounts, also stated that it was a new beginning for them.
They also stated via tweets that they were both born catholic but later-on they became scientologists.
Leah Remini stated that she didn’t want her daughter to grow up being a Scientologist because the church becomes your number priority.
"I decided I didn't want to raise my daughter in the [Church of Scientology] because from what I've experienced and what I saw, the church becomes your everything. It becomes your mother, your father, your everything. You are dependent on the church," Remini said.
