CoLab, Kaduna’s innovation centre, is opening its doors to female developers for free.

It’s no news that Nigeria’s growing tech ecosystem is dominated by men; the imbalance is noticeable anywhere from incubators to founders.

The hub seems very interested in getting the female folk involved; in exchange for free access, the developers will design programs that will get more women involved in technology.

CoLab’s founder, Sanusi Ismaila, first teased the announcement via his twitter handle.
