For weeks now, various tests into the durability of Apple’s new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been conducted by tech aficionados around the world and today, a new fact has surfaced: the Apple iPhone 6S and 6S Plus are waterproof.
This may sound surprising especially since Apple didn’t say anything about the smartphone being waterproof at its launch or via any medium since.
However, in a video by YouTuber Zack Straley, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus were both put in a bowl of water for an hour and still worked fine afterwards.

This is quite a phenomenal perk, especially seeing as Apple has not mentioned anything about its new flagship device being waterproof.
According to a report by Geeky Gadgets, this could be because if Apple lists the phone as being waterproof, it may be liable to fix any damaged iPhone 6s and 6s Plus phones under warranty. But since the tech giant has not listed this as a feature, you are entirely on your own if you try to conduct a waterproof test on your iPhone 6s or 6s Plus as it will not be covered by warranty.
