According to Vanguard, the ABU Dean of Students, Bar. Ahmed Tanimu made the statement on social media.

Tanimu also said the Senator is a bonafide graduate of the institution who has his original transcripts and certificate.

The Dean said “Dino had not wanted to graduate from the school, the institution, however, graduated him and his likes so that peace may reign."

Sahara Reporters has also alleged that Melaye’s classmate revealed that he stole a television set while he was in ABU.

The online media platform also said that the incident also led to his impeachment as the president of ABU National Association of Geography Students.

Meanwhile, the flamboyant Senator has filed a N5b libel suit at a High Court in Abuja, against Sahara Reporters.
