Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode commissions first state-owned emergency helicopter service in Nigeria on August 11, 2016.
Ambode commissioned the project, meant for use in medical emergencies, on Thursday, August 11, 2016, at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in Ikeja.

Ambode also said that the maternity ward of the hospital, popularly called Ayinke House, would be ready for use by 2017.
