This Valentine's Day, Tracee Ellis Ross is reminding all the single ladies that even if they're not celebrating the holiday with a romantic partner, their lives are full of love. And, especially on a holiday all about love, it's important to celebrate all kinds of love. In a new Instagram video, the 47-year-old Black-ish star shared an ode to the single life, shouting out all of the people who make every day special.
In the video, a child asks why Tracee and her friend are sharing a chair, because it looks a little weird. "Because we love each other," she simply replies.
Tracee further opens up about riding solo on February 14 in the video's caption: "As a happily and gloriously long time single woman who also has a deep desire to be in romantic partnership with someone, Valentines Day can feel tricky. But, I am reminded that although I dont have one special partner... my life is wonderfully full of so much special love."
"And one of my favorite parts of being single is how I get to choose who I spend my time with, share my heart with, hang with, giggle with, call, dine across from," she continued. "I have cultivated a robust tribe around me and today on this designated day of love I hope that all of you in my tribe and all of you remember how lovable we are! Happy Valentines Day! #HeresToBestFriendsAndLovers."
Tracee's fans were living for her love-filled message. "This Made my Day ," one person wrote. "Yasssss!!!!!#loveday youre amazing ," another Instagram follower commented. "THIS IS WHY YOU ARE MY FAVE," said yet another. And, of course, there were heart emojis for dayyyyys.
So, I guess this means Tracee is everybody's Valentine?
