The Bible, Colossians 3:12 in particular, commands believers to be patient. But sometimes this feels easier said than done.
Thankfully, we don't have to do this by ourselves. Here are ten Bible verses to turn to whenever you are struggling with impatience.

"Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways when they carry out their wicked schemes."
Exodus 14:14
"The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
Galatians 6:9
"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
Proverbs 14:29
"Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly."
Proverbs 16:32
"Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self-control than one who takes a city."
Habakkuk 2:3
"For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay."
Philippians 4:6–7
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Romans 5:2–4
"Through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope."

"But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently."
Romans 12:12
