A video has emerged following the recovery of the body of the Lagos medical practitioner,

The video recording made by TVC News crew who were on the ground when the body was recovered by the Marine Police, showed the swollen and decomposing body of the late doctor as it was being brought out of the water.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Fatai Owoseni who addressed journalists shortly after the recovery of the body, said the body has been taken away for forensic analysis to ascertain the cause of death.

Dr. Orji, a consultant at the Mount Sinai Hospital in Surulere area of the state, was said to be inside his Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) on his way to the Lagos Island for a meeting at about 4 pm on the day of the incident when he had a phone call.

He reportedly ordered his driver to pull over and came out of the vehicle only to jump into the lagoon at the Adekunle and Adeniji end of the Third Mainland Bridge.
