Soldiers kill 3 kidnappers in Bauchi State
The Nigerian army authorities have reportedly been informed of an alleged assault on a civilian by one of its own.
The soldiers, who received an intelligence report concerning the activities of the kidnappers, raided the forest where the captives were held and killed three of the suspects.

Three suspected kidnappers have been killed by soldiers of the 33 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Bauchi State.

The soldiers also rescued three women held by the kidnappers in the Ningi Local Government Area of the state, Punch reports.
Major Boyi Uba, who is the Commander, "Operation Flush Ningi", told the press that the army acted on an intelligence report concerning the kidnapping.
Following the report, the soldiers raided the forest where the women were held to confront kidnappers, who were fifty in number, according to reports.

Three of the criminals were shot dead, while others escaped. The items found at the raid include two AK-47 rifles, four cartridges, two motorcycles and two mobile phones.
Uba, in his comment, advised residents of the area to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity in the community on time.
