Did Maya Angelou Want To Die?

Maya Angelouis no more. She died quietly in her sleep on Wednesday in her home in California but did she want to die when she made it clear that in the event of her death, NO ONE should try to bring her back?

According to a revealing 911 call from her caretaker, it's likely Maya had previously been crystal clear when she told everyone that when she passed, "don't try to bring me back!"

Apparently when the caretaker called for medical help, she was asked to perform CPR on the victim, but she turned it down based on Maya's vivid instructions.

The operator tells the caretaker to perform CPR regardless - because Maya didn't have a "Do Not Resuscitate" order - and when the caretaker complied ... it was to no avail. Maya was gone!As we earlier reported, Angelou passed away Wednesday at the age of 86.
