The thieving pastor identified as only as Pastor Destiny, was nabbed in Nsukka, Enugu State, where he had taken the car to look for buyers.
According to Daily Trust, Pastor Destiny, a frequent visitor to the victim’s residence, took away the car keys without his friend’s knowledge and sneaked into the compound where he stole the car in the night.
The victim told the police that he wanted to use the car in the morning but could not find the keys, so he took the spare key and went to where he parked the car only to realise that it was not where he parked it in the night and he went to the police station to make a report.
The police then spread its net and trailed the car through its tracker to Enugu where the car was found and the suspect was arrested.
