Growing up in an African home helps us understand certain things that might not make a bit of sense in any way possible to a non-African.

Imagine your parent trying to pass a message across to you which is totally different from what they are saying. How do you not get confused in such situation? It's called sign language.

Lemme paint a scenario just so you understand exactly what I'm saying. You all go out on a family visit to a family friend's and on getting there, they offer to serve you something, maybe a drink, as in most cases. Your parents, at that instant, look at you and be like don't take it (of course they do this using their eyes), but hen they're saying to you in front of the visitor, take it now. Which are you supposed to follow? If I were you, I'd obey the sign language message. It's a better and safer choice.

In this video, Taofeek's dad sends him on an errand to get Amala (meanwhile, his mum already made spaghetti before leaving for the salon). Unfortunately, she arrives from the salon a bit early and well, Taofeek arrives right after her with the amala. What do you expect at this point? he denies sending him, saying he wasn't interested in eating the amala, however, if Taofeek wanted it, he could have.

Smart! Taofeek, against his dad's sign language, decides to eat it all. Watch the video and see just how well his dad handled the situation minutes later.
