Super Eagles legend Okocha shines as World Classic team beats Abraham Accords 13-3 at Dubai Games [Photos]

Super Eagles of Nigeria legend Jay-Jay Okocha was the star of the show at the EXPO2020 Dubai games on Tuesday, March 29, 2022.

The 48-year-old star was in action as the World Classic team defeated the Abraham Accords 13-3 in a charity event.

Okocha already teased his appearance at the games with a picture of his teammates on his official Instagram account.

The Super Eagles star provided his tricks and flicks along with former Arsenal wide man Robert Pires, former Real Madrid and AC Milan star Kaka, and former Barcelona defender Carlos Puyol.

The team also includes former Arsenal and Manchester City right-back Bacary Sagna, former Real Madrid, and AC Milan star Clarence Seedorf.

Other star players on the World Classic team are former Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Caesar and former Barcelona forward Javier Saviola.

Pires was voted man of the match after scoring four goals for his side in the victory.

Okocha was however the star of the show as the crowd cheered his every touch throughout the game.

It was an overall impressive outing for Okocha, as he was not on punditry duties as the Super Eagles of Nigeria lost the 2022 FIFA World Cup ticket to the Black Stars of Ghana.
