CHAN team play goalless draw with Cameroon

The Super Eagles of Nigeria were held to a goalless draw by Cameroon in a preparatory match for the African nations championship

Nigerias home-based Eagles on Wednesday, January 10 played a goalless draw with their Cameroonian counterparts.

The match was a tune-up game in preparation for the upcoming African Nations Championship (CHAN)which is scheduled to kick off on Saturday 13 January 2018.

According to the Nigerian football Federation (NFF), “it was a very good practise game.”

Nigeria's starting eleven for the game - Ezenwa, Okoro, Itodo, Okogbue, Abdullahi, Atuluma, Ifeanyi Ifeanyi, Rabiu, Oladapo, Okpotu, Okechukwu.

Substitutions - Nweke for Okoro, Ojo for Rabiu, Udoh for Itodo, Nur in for Ifeanyi Ifeanyi.

The Super Eagles head coach Salisu Yusuf will hope his strikers have a better day in the office when they take on Rwanda on Monday, January 15 in their opening match of the CHAN.
