Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo was on target for Al-Hilal as they recorded a 2-0 victory against Abha in a Saudi Professional League fixture played on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
The 32-year-old Ighalo received a yellow card for his troubles as the first half ended without a goal.
In the 55th minute, Ali Albulayhi put Al-Hilal in front when he converted a ball through to him by Matheus Pereira.
Ighalo put Al-Hilal two goals up when he converted a ball through to him by Abdullah Al Hamdan in the 80th minute,
Al-Hilal held on for the win and secured a much needed three points in the title race.

The goal by Ighalo was the 22nd in the league this season. The victory means that Al-Hilal are now tied at the top of the league with Al-Ittihad.
Both teams have a total of 61 points after 28 games played in the league this season.
Ighalo who joined Al-Hilal from Al-Shabab midway through the season has a chance to win the league title this season.
With just two games left, Ighalo is expected to return to action for Al-Hilal when they travel to face Al-Fateh in their next league fixture scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 18, 2022.
