This is the first of the final ten match days of the season, and battle at respective ends of the table are beginning to take shape.

Rivers United v Remo Stars will face off in a top of the table clash, while Lobi Stars, who have been doing well at home recently, will host Sunshine Stars in Makurdi.

Well, let's take a look at the games of interest this weekend.

Rivers United v Remo Stars

League leaders Rivers United will look to consolidate on their four-point lead when they host third placed Remo Stars in PH on Sunday.

The first meeting in Ikenne ended in a 1-1 draw. Their respective performances have gone a notch higher as RU close in on the league title, while Remo are eyeing a continental place finish with ten matches to go.

Given the occasion and circumstances, Rivers United will start as overwhelming favorites to take all three points and further increase the gap between them and the chasing pack.

Prediction: Rivers United 2-0 Remo Stars

Katsina United v Enyimba

Resurgent Katsina United have a date with one of the best sides in the second stanza - Enyimba.

The Chanji Boys have a lot to prove and since the arrival of Usman Abdallah, they have been impressive and only a few teams have accrued more points than the Katsina side.

Although, Enyimba have been good since the resumption of action, their away form hasn't improved.

The Aba giants have garnered just two points from a possible 24 on their recent travels, while Katsina United have won their past four home games.

So, it's a fixture that is delicately poised and could produce an interesting outcome.

Prediction: Katsina United 1-0 Enyimba

Other games include:

MFM, who are in dire need of points, will make a short trip to Ibadan to face Shooting Stars. Similarly, Abia Warriors will host Plateau United in Okigwe.
