In the spirit of smashing records, Funke Akindele’s Everybody Loves Jenifa has grossed ₦511 million in just 12 days. 

In an official announcement, by the film distributor, FilmOne, this blockbuster comedy has raked in a jaw-dropping ₦511 million at the box office, officially crowning itself as 2024’s highest-grossing Nollywood title and fastest to hit the  ₦500 million mark.

“History Made! Everybody Loves Jenifa smashes records with ₦511M at the box office, becoming 2024’s highest-grossing Nollywood title and the fastest to hit ₦500M in just 12 days! Don’t stop! Let’s smash the record books. Watch Everybody Loves Jenifa in cinemas near you,” the post said. 

Just last week, Everybody Loves Jenifa pulled in a mind-blowing ₦206 million during its opening weekend, setting the record for the biggest Nollywood opening weekend EVER.

If that wasn’t enough, it also earned ₦87.8 million on its first day, making it the highest-grossing one-day performance in Nollywood history. Iconic, right? 

Funke Akindele brought her A-game, delivering the hilarious, heartwarming, and absolutely chaotic Jenifa energy we’ve loved for years.

This time, the story takes Jenifa on a wild journey of self-discovery, fame, and misadventures that had audiences laughing, crying, and cheering in cinemas.

Plus, let’s not forget the marketing genius of Funke herself. From viral social media campaigns to surprise appearances at cinemas, she ensured Everybody Loves Jenifa wasn’t just a movie; it was an experience.
