Rapper, wife defend daughter for carrying gun

American rapper T.I. and wife Tiny have come out to defend his 20-year-old step-daughter Zonnique Pullins after she was arrested for carrying a gun inside her bag at the airport.

TMZ reports, that the rapper and his wife allowed Zonnique carry a semi-automatic handgun because she has been getting threat messages on social media.

It was also gathered that Tiny actually went along with her daughter to get the 38 caliber pistol for her own protection.

However, Zonnique was arrested at the airport after an X-ray machine revealed that she was carrying a semiautomatic pistol inside her bag.

It was further reported that after her arrest and detention on Thursday, June 16, 2016, Zonnique was released on Friday morning, June 17, 2016. It is unsure if the authorities will be pressing further charges, but T.I. already hired a lawyer for her.

Zonnique who is an aspiring singer belongs to the member of girl group, OMG, she is one of the seven children of the Hip Hop family, who live in Atlanta and recently welcomed a new child, Heiress Diana Harris, into their family a few months ago.
