Ayuba and his team were said to have walked out of the meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday night, May 17 (today) at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal.
Speaking to newsmen after the meeting, Wabba affirmed that the indefinite strike will proceed as planned on Wednesday, May 17.
However, the Federal Government has threatened that its no work, no pay policy will take effect from Wednesday, if the NLC goes ahead with the strike.

Pulse had reported that the Joe Ajaero faction of the NLC will not join the Ayuba faction in the strike action, as it has reached an agreement with the government.
