According to a report by Premium Times, Jammeh will finally leave power for Barrow, after failing three deadlines.
A French journalist in The Gambia alleged that after the expiration of the third deadline, officials are saying Jammeh was writing a statement “where he accepts defeat.”
Already, Barrow, who was sworn in in the Gambian embassy situated in Dakar, Senegal, has returned to his country to take his mandate.
