You have to see this pregnant woman’s take on 'April The Giraffe'

She says in the Facebook post that she decided to buy a giraffe mask on Amazon and make her own version.

Pregnant woman impersonates April the Giraffe in hilarious video

The last days of pregnancy can get pretty frustrating, but one woman is finding the humor in it by... impersonating a pregnant giraffe? Yup.

April the Giraffe, a resident of the Animal Adventure Park in New York, is about to give birth.

She's become a bit of an internet celeb as people tune into a live stream to watch her newborn giraffe calf come into the world.

However, the stream, which started three weeks ago according to the New York Times, has so far been a whole lot of nothing.

Giraffes gestate for 15 months, according to the Animal Adventure Park's website, and it seems giraffe labor is an equally prolonged affair.

Finding all the action (or lack thereof) funny, South Carolina mom Erin Dietrich created her own version of the live stream on Facebook, donning a giraffe mask and baring her pregnant belly while she slowly meanders around à la April.

“I have become obsessed with checking on this ‘April the Giraffe’ live feed all night long, seeing if she has had her baby yet,” she told local news station WTSP.

Kind of weird? Yes. Weirdly entertaining? Definitely. The video of the expectant mom pacing around her "pen" (a.k.a. bedroom) has already racked up over 15 million views. Deitrich, who is pregnant with her fourth child, is due on March 14, according WTSP.
