You've got to see these new photos of Mama June's major weight-loss transformation

She documented the whole thing on her new reality show, Mama June: From Not to Hot, but has kept pretty under-the-radar IRL.

June Shannon (a.k.a. Mama June) has been making headlines recently after her daughters revealed that the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star went from 460 pounds to a size four.

Mama June documented the whole thing on her new reality show, Mama June: From Not to Hot, but has kept pretty under-the-radar IRL. Now, she’s showing off the results of her hard work.

And, damn—it's impressive. Mama June is practically unrecognizable in new photos she took for People. “I’ve worked my ass off, working out getting healthy,” Mama June said during her show’s finale.

“And now I feel like becoming the person on the outside that I always felt like on the inside.”  (Dance your way fit with Women's Health's High-Intensity Dance Cardio, the first-ever socanomics DVD!)

Mama June completely changed her diet and exercise habits and underwent a gastric sleeve procedure, known as a vertical sleeve gastrectomy, in 2015 after she hit a weight-loss plateau. She also had excess skin removed from her neck, arms, back, and stomach, underwent a breast augmentation, and got a set of veneers, People reports.

Within the last few days, Mama June has been tweeting about the results, pointing out that her weight loss journey is still a work in progress:

She also proudly showed off some photos of herself from the People shoot, as well as one she did for WE:

Mama June’s trainer, Kenya Crooks, revealed the reality star’s exact workout to Women’s Health in early March, but said her path to weight loss wasn’t easy. “When you decide to lose weight, you have to be a little selfish and focused all the time. Mama June is a giver, and it’s hard for her to say ‘no’ sometimes,” he says.

“I had to remind her that this is her time. I had to say ‘You can’t be everything to everybody else and be nothing to yourself.’ Once she gave herself permission to put herself first, she was fine.”
