7 uses of 'used tea bags'

Used tea bags are used for unbelievable things especially where it concerns skincare and beauty where they work wonders...

By now we know a lot of natural things that work well especially for skincare are not necessarily expensive. A cursory look at our kitchen pantry most times proffer solutions to simple skincare and beauty issues.

Today we are dishing on the many benefits of used tea bags, yup those you dispose after use.

1. As a facial toner

To use tea bag as a facial toner, wipe a tea bag over the troubled zones and blot with a clean towel. Tea bags are known to make the face less greasy and tighten the facial skin if used often.

2. For Treating Burns

Allow the tea bags to cool after steeping afterwards place them on areas where you have burns. You can also use this for a top to toe treat, brew a tea bath and submerge yourself  in the cooled off water.

3. Treatment for sore/bleeding gums

A cooled used tea bag over sore gums work perfectly as they reduce the swollen tissues. They are also perfect for bleeding gums because they contain substances that constrict blood vessels stopping the bleeding.

4. To reduce puffiness

To reduce puffiness around the eyes, soak a tea bag in warm water and place on each eye for 15- 20 minutes.

5. Reduce undereye dark circles

Soak a tea bag in warm water and place under the eyes to reduce undereye dark circles. The contain antioxidants that heals the bruising causing the under eye circles.

6. Rashes and insect bites

Apply used tea bags to rashes and insect bites to ease itching.

7. For stinky feet

For people with stinky feet tea bags work all you need to do is to soak them in a steeped-tea bath for 20 minutes every day. Tea contains astringent that closes up the sweat emitting pores that causes the smell and it contains substances that kill the bacteria as well.
