5 ingredients to always look out for in a facial mask

Before picking up facial masks or making them ourselves, there are ingredient we should always look out for because of what they contain.

The facial skin is the thinnest skin all over the body and they should be most catered to (not at the detriment of every other part of the body) because of their delicate nature.

It is important to preserve the skin's radiance, glow, complexion and more as the facial skin is the first contact people have of each other.

1. Honey

Honey is loaded with antioxidants which is great as an anti aging product. It also contains antiseptic properties that fights acne and other skin blemishes. So always look out for this wen shopping or make sure to add when you are making yours. Honey is great to be used on the skin plain or added to a skincare product.

2. Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is becoming increasingly common in skincare. The plant is loaded with immense beauty benefits, it soothes the skin and works to tackle blemishes as it clears the skin as well and its incredibly calming and smells good.

3. Vitamin E

A healthy blend of any form of vitamin E is great for skincare because they keep the skin young and radiant. They produce healthy collagen which keeps wrinkles at bay.

4. Oats

Oats are great for cleansing pores, clearing the skin which in turn reduces blemishes, they are also soothing so they help sunburnt skin and more.

Look out for oats when picking up a product or making yours.

5. Avocados

Avocados provide moisture for the skin, they hydrate otherwise dehydrated skin. They also contain healthy fats that plumps and hydrate the skin.
