1. Water

Water is the best way to get rid of constipation, drinking up to eight glasses of water helps you pass out stool with ease as well as cleanse the body inside out! So good old water is a sure way to deal with 'bloatness'.

2. Aloe Vera

Aloe vera works great for the body just as much as it works on the skin. To treat constipation, add drops of aloe vera gel to water and drink this preferably first thing in the morning.

3. Flax and Chia Seeds

Add flaxseeds and chia seeds to your diet, sprinkle them on saldas etc, they help with digestion. When eating these seeds make sure to consume enough water.

4. Greens

Spinach, Kale and more leafy greens help to naturally soften stools and make passing it out easier as they contain magnesium.

5. Lemon

Lemon works to stimulate and cleanse the internal organs especially the intestine. Add lemon juice to your daily glasses of water. Make sure to do this in moderation.

6. Coconut water

Coconut water works well to keep the body hydrated and its best for people who would rather water is flavoured/not bland. It also helps clean out the digestive system.

7. Apples

Apples help to stimulate the bowels. Eat a whole apple everyday to add fibre to your diet making bowel movement come with ease.
