The British singer/songwriter who is a fitness enthusiast revealed struggles with a heart defect announcing she would cut down on her fitness regime as 'I have been playing with my life' she reportedly offered.

The 'Love me like you do' singer who shares her intense workout sessions with her followers on Instagram made the revelation to Australian magazine; Perth stating she's forced to cut down on her exercise regime for health reasons.

The singer opened up about been diagnosed last year but has not get the defect checked properly until recently. She says she got addicted to fitness/hitting the gym is a passion she shares with her bandmates and boyfriend Dougie Poynter.

"I found out I have this heart thing and I need to get it checked out. I'm fine, it's actually something someone discovered last year but I never got it checked out. Which is terrible, I have been playing with my life" Ellie Goulding revealing stating she's decided to go easy on her workout routine.
