All you need do is check out our galleries from the ceremony here to grasp how splendid the ceremony was.
To have a ceremony of such picturesque grandeur though, you can only imagine the amount of effort and moolah spent to put it all together.
These details have been broken down by E! and they are absolutely… waoh!
So let’s check it out together, shall we?
1. Invitation cards
At $14 per card for 350 guests, the couple shelled out an estimated $4,500 [₦895K] on invitations alone.
And yeah, that’s just for starters.
2. Dress
Dress: Pippa looked picture-perfect in her custom made ivory lace wedding gown by Giles Deacon which cost a reported $52,000 [₦10.3M].
3. Hair
If you thought the hair on the bride was stunning [we do, by the way], you should hold on for this one.
E! News reports that Pippa with the enviable rear underwent a total of five trials before her big day to get the elegant chignon just right.
And the bill for this rounded off at $650 [₦129K].
Add that to $325 [₦64K] paid to a professional hair stylist to ensure not a single hair was out of place.
4. Flower
And speaking of the gorgeous flowers – a visual delight of pink and white roses – E! reports that another $20,000 [₦3.9M] was spent.

5. Glass Marquee
Attendees danced the night away under a massive glass "palace" built across three days on the Middleton family's 18-acre estate. Building the marquee alone is reported to have cost $130,000 [₦25.87M].
6. Transportation
Of course only the best would be appropriate for a wedding fitting for royals.
So Pippa and James’ bridal party arrived in a fleet of vintage cars.
There was also an approximated 50 Land Rovers to transporte guests from a security check area to the venue.
That’s another $26,000, people. In Nigerian naira, that’s ₦5.1M to rent the fleet.
7. Food, cake and drinks
Reports are that the guests were treated to over a million dollars worth of food and an estimated 150 bottles of Dom Ruinart 2002 champagne, totaling $26,000 [₦5.17M].
There were also 750 bottles of Nyetimber 2010 Blanc de Noir Millington wine at a total of around $66,000 [₦13.1M].
Waoh!
When you add all of these to a spitfire performance at $6500 [₦1.29M] and a wedding cake which cost $3,000 [₦597K] to get its spectacular design, then you get the image of how amazing that ceremony was.
Love don’t cost a thing, guys, but a wedding like Pippa and James’ surely does!
