3 extravagant weddings that dazed the Internet in 2016

This Lebanese bride's Esposa dress caused quite a stir on Instagram, obviously for all the shiny reasons.

The super-stylish dress had expensive stones plentily beaded into it which had taken a whole two months to complete.

The whole dress itself had taken the whole of 12 months to make.

Yes. A whole year on a dress. No wonder the result was so breathtaking!

Khadija Uzhakhov

This bride married the son of a Russian oligarch and the ceremony threw the Internet into a frenzy.

The 20 year old bride who was a student at the time wore a heavily-jewelled dress that allegedly cost $1million. She also got to wear jewelry worth reportedly worth $200k.

Then there was Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias to provide entertainment to the guests present.

Report also had it that the party continued in London where Beyonce and Sir Elton John also performed.

That surely would have been one heck of a lavish ceremony.

In June 2016, when Sargis Karapetyan, the 23-year-old son of an Armenian billionaire, and his Georgian bride, 25-year-old Salome Kintsurashvili got married in Moscow, they surpassed all the flamboyance seen at Khadija's wedding.

The display of opulence was estimated at over $2 million.

The entrance to the wedding hall was decorated to look like an enchanted forest, the dining area and garden had flowers everywhere as far as your eyes could see.

There might be more expensive weddings, but these three are just too beautiful and mind-blowing to ignore.
