Pietro Boselli, 28, became so popular amongst his university students for his looks that they were uploading photos of him on social media, helping him grow a big global following (he now has almost 850,000 Instagram followers now). He then entered the sexiest teacher in the world competition (yes, there is one) and he won.
World's hottest maths teacher just got signed to Armani
World's hottest maths teacher who reached global fame after his adoring students shared his adorable pictures online is now the new face of Armani.
Now the mathematician, who first modelled for Armani at the age of seven has put down his board pen to sign for the designer label once more.
Boselli's academic achievements are easily as impressive as his six-pack.
He was awarded the Undergraduate Faculty Excellence Scholarship for the most outstanding academic achievement in his first year at UCL, before going on to get first-class honours.
Boselli, who has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UCL, says he always dreamed of modelling, but chose to follow an academic path instead.
He already has almost 900,000 followers on Instagram and his good looks have been widely compared to that of David Beckham.
However, the teacher-come-model says he tries not to let the attention go to his head saying that people "think he is too beautiful to ever take it seriously."
Boselli is hoping that the money he earns from modelling will help him to establish his own engineering company in London.
