Young man loses truck but escapes uninjured after indulging in a truck jumping stunt to the amusement of his friends.

A video footage of a truck jumping stunt gone wrong has gone viral as the amateur stunt man loses his truck in the process and almost drowned.

The young man was seen lining up his truck for the jump in a bid to impress his friends who are recording the stunt.

He was later seen driving at top speed toward a narrow stream making the jump and clearing it quite easily as his friends cheer him on, but that's the easy part.

Soon enough, the cheers turn to cursing as the video shows the friends running to help their stunt man who has found himself and his truck in a much large river flowing rapidly down a steep ravine.

Luckily, the driver emerges from the car turned upside down, through the driver side window, soaked.

Fortunately for him, he escapes uninjured as his friends dragged him to safety but his truck wasn't so lucky.

The footage was reported to have been taken in China.
