7-year-old twins joined at the waist shopping at the market goes viral

The 7-year old conjoined twins popularly known as Pin and Pan are from inland Nakhon Sawan in Thailand.

Conjoined at the waist with two legs and four arms, Pin and Pan are shown in the picture walking away and giggling, as they went shopping together.

Similar pictures of the Siamese twins emerged around a year ago, and Pin and Pan appear to have grown very little in that time.

However, the twins look to be in good health. The overall survival rate of conjoined twins is somewhere between 5 and 25 per cent, according to the University of Maryland Medical Centre.

In 2013, Red Cross visited the conjoined twins in Nakhon Sawan and donated a relief kit, pillows, blankets, a mattress and financial support.
