'Bernie Baby' is dead

Oliver started gaining a following when his mom dressed him up in a wig and glasses to look like Senator Bernie Sanders and shared the picture online

A 4-month old infant who was also dubbed the "Bernie Baby" on social media has died from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

The baby's original name is Oliver Jack Carter Lomas-Davis. His mother Souxsie revealed that her son died on February 25,2016 using her Facebook profile.

Oliver started gaining a following when his mom dressed him up in a wig and glasses to look like Senator Bernie Sanders and shared the picture online.

The Senator got the opportunity to meet the baby before he died during a rally in Las Vegas.

Sanders is a Democratic Presidential nominee for the upcoming presidential election in the United States of America. If he wins, he will take the reins from Barack Obama who is also a democrat.
