FRSC urges public to reduce accidents by obeying rules

The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) is trying to reduce accidents with the help of the public.

Speed-related accidents can be reduced and prevented with the use of speed limiting devices

According to Mr Yusuf Salami, Oyo state’s Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), the agency can only stop accidents if the public obeys traffic rules and regaulations.

Speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ibadan, he said: “the FRSC is doing everything possible to minimize crashes on our roads, but the only way to achieve this is with the cooperation of all and sundry."

"Drivers complying with traffic rules and regulations is, however, not negotiable,” he added.
