FRSC warns against drunk driving
Motorists have been advised to avoid consuming alcohol beverages while driving.
According to Oyeyemi, consuming a lot of alcohol beverage, results in over speeding, which leads to impaired vision, illusive driving, and eventually, a car crash.
He also stated that the FRSC, under the establishment Act 2007 and the National Road Traffic Regulations, 2012 has the right to prohibit, fine and imprison anyone found guilty of driving or attempting to drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol and other narcotics.
All of these was revealed in Oyeyemi's address titled: “Advancing Road Safety through Consultative Discourse,” delivered to the Beer Sectoral Group CEOs meeting in Lagos.
